If An Elephant Dies, The Herd Will Try To Revive It With Food And Water, Often For Many Hours. Then The Whole Herd Will Become Very Quiet, Often Digging A Shallow Grave And Covering The Body With Earth And Branches.

Sadly, These Huge, Amazing Creatures Are In Danger Of Extinction In The Wild. The Number Of Wild African Bush And Forest Elephants Has Fallen By More Than 50% In The Last 25 Years, And All 3 Species Are On The International Union For The Conservation Of Nature “Endangered Species” Red List.
